GREEN GOODNESS VEGAN PIE (By Chef Lauren Von Der Pool)

We love the quick and easy benefit of drinking your Supa Mega Greens, however, there are other ways to consume them. You can use it in soups, salads, sauces or even scrumptious desserts. Today, we're offering up a recipe for a raw, vegan dessert that you can do on your own. All natural. All plant based. All good! 

Ingredients/ Materials:

    • Cup of coconut

    • Cup of almonds (or your favorite seed or nut)

    • 1/2 cup of hemp seeds

    • 10 dates

    • tsp vanilla

    • tsp cinnamon

    • pinch of sea salt

    • 2 tbsp coconut oil

    • whole pineapple, cut & peeled

    • 2 avocados

    • cup of coconut oil

    • cup of agave

    • 2 tbsp of SMG

    • food processor

    • large mixing bowl 

Directions: 

  • Crust

    • Blend. ingredients in food processor (coconut, almonds, seeds, dates, vanilla, cinnamon, salt)

    • Transfer to large mixing bowl. Add coconut oil.

    • Knead until moist but firm. 

    • Transfer to baking pan.

  • Filling

    • Mix coconut oil, pineapple, avocado, agave and Supa Mega Greens in a blender for 1 minute. 

    • Pour over the top of the crust. 

Put pie freezer for 2-3 hours before eating.
